Whew! I'm glad to be finished w/ 23 Things!! There was a lot of valuable information which could have been explored in greater depth. I rushed through the last 3 Lessons, just to meet the deadline, so I don't think I retained much.
Thanks for the opportunity to learn many new things!

Week 9 Thing 22
Project Gutenburg is a wonderful program so that people can have another format to access books.
Week 9 Thing 21
I have looked at podcasts and think they are cool. Especially since they can be downloaded from anywhere.
Week 8 Thing 19
It was cool to see that Flickr won the first place award for pictures and digital images since it was one of the 23 things assignments.
Week 8 Thing 18
The Zoho writer is a very useful tool for students and co-workers to share and edit documents.
Week 7 Thing 17
I signed up and posted my blog to the Sandbox wiki, but when I tried to paste the wiki URL it gave me an error.
Week 7 Thing 16
I LOVE WIKIPEDIA, and glean an overview of a lot of information that way, about authors, books, places, events, etc. , so I find it beneficial but don't use it as my main source of information. I also like the way it is layed out. One disadvantage is the anyone can alter the content or information.
Week 4 Thing 9
I looked at the bloglines to search news feeds.
I also looked and registered at Merlin, but I am still waiting for the admistrative approval.

Wk 6
Just spent 25 minutes reviewing the Library 2.0 blogs, De-licio-us, and Technorati tagging, and another 10 minutes blogging about it. This was certainly a lot to take in at the circulation desk (the only computer available --- thankfully we weren't busy.) Not too sure I can regurgitate all that I read, but it seems apparent that many changes are coming in the field of libraries, and we'd better be progressive in our thinking, able to roll with the punches and extremely fluid in learning. Once my vision of the tranformation becomes clearer, it would seem many institutions will undergo a HUGE transformation!
It's very positive and exciting...yet seems daunting and insurmountable from where I stand at this point. Hopefully, there will be opportunities to revisit this subject, with a different manners of presentation.

Week 4 Thing 8
Bloglines are a great way to instantly be updated with current events or special interests!
I attempted to attach the link to my RSS feeds but couldn't get it to work!

Wk 1 Thing 2
The easiest of the 7 1/2 habits for me would be Habit 1. When it is easy to envision a successful outcome, it make the process all the more worthwhile.
The hardest of the 7 1/2 habits for me would be Habit 4. I am a sensitive person with a high fear factor when attempting to do something out of my comfort zone.
